The red and green at the backdrop of white, is the color theme of every Christmas. Although, snow is the flavor of the season and a snowy Christmas is what everybody wants, it looks like snowing way too much, even in places where it is not expected to.

There is surely some concern on how climate is changing in this planet!

WEI, as every responsible citizen of this world, stands with Paris convention, for a cleaner and sustainable planet of future.

In many parts of the earth, authorities and common citizens are promoting a green Christmas for some years now. For example, the City of Jyväskylä in Finland is promoting sustainable use of resources through communication initiatives such as ”a resource-wise Christmas calendar”, which presents one local example of smart use of resources each day, in an Advent calendar format, to showcase sustainable lifestyles, energy efficiency and recycling of materials.

In India, we could use jute or recycled paper to make Christmas trees. That would promote these industries as well.
Using organic food, eco labelled trees, avoiding presents that use too much energy sources, conserving energy through LEDs, are some of the measures being advised for a “green and sustainable Christmas 🎄 “.
